If you're planning to procrastinate your tax filing this year, you can take an extra weekend to finish up the paperwork. That's because this year Friday April 15th is Emancipation Day in the District of Columbia, and because of a little known Federal Law, the tax deadline cannot fall on the same day as this holiday. For that reason you have until Monday, April 18th to file.
